This Privacy Policy explains how Atlantic Atlas Designs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit atlanticatlasdesigns.com (the “Site”) or place an order.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order, create an account, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if provided), order details, and the content of your messages.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe and, if you choose it, PayPal. Your full card number is entered directly with the payment processor; we do not see or store it. We receive limited information such as the card type, last four digits, and payment status.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and the date and time of your visit, using cookies and similar technologies.
How we use information
- To process, fulfill, and ship your orders, including sending order and tracking emails.
- To provide customer support, replacements, and refunds.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to prevent fraud.
- To calculate and collect sales tax and meet legal and accounting obligations.
- To send marketing emails only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us run the store, including:
- Printify and its print partners, which produce and ship your order (name, shipping address, order details).
- Stripe and PayPal, which process payments.
- Shipping carriers, which deliver your package and provide tracking.
- WordPress, WooCommerce, and Jetpack (Automattic), which power the Site and provide site statistics and security.
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts the Site.
- Google Fonts, which delivers fonts used on the Site and may receive your IP address.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies that are necessary for the shopping cart, checkout, and account sign-in, as well as cookies for site statistics and fraud prevention. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may prevent checkout from working.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is nothing further to opt out of; we will honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.
Data retention
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders and to meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements, and delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account information by signing in to My Account. Depending on the state you live in (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and others with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information or targeted advertising. Security
The Site uses encryption (HTTPS) and relies on established payment processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date.
